Introducing dress design to Roisin Cross Silks evolved naturally and we are very proud to now offer an in-house dress design service.
Synan O’Mahony is a dress designer of immense flair and creativity. His magnificent collections include spectacular gowns incorporating beaded French lace embellished with crystals. He has designed both home and abroad for the stars. His work features regularly in fashion magazines from runaways to award shows.
Naturally, pricing can be difficult without the knowledge of the design, concept or silk, but we will endeavor to give you a guideline on request.
At a lower price point to design, we have recently introduced an in house dress making service which will appeal to those who have a clear concept of what they require either by referencing commercial patterns or by other images
"The Ellie Saab of Irish Design, Synan is best known for his high voltage, sexy body sculpting goddess- like gowns. His hand beading is incredible, as is his corsetry. He has a signature. You always know an O ‘Mahony dress when you see one ."
"‘I would just like to acknowledge the great experience that is Roisin Cross Silks. Judith is the ultimate professional when it comes to her beloved silks and cashmere and a visit to the Dun Laoghaire shop is such a treat. Colours abound and to choose just one fabric is so difficult...I want everything. The help given to me while shopping for Mother of the Bride outfits has been very special and with Synan on hand to design my dress and coat, I'm feeling like a million dollars. Thank you both so much.’ "
"Synan O’ Mahony sure has made some spectacular pieces throughout our ten years."
