Important Notice regarding Bridal making
Roisin Cross Silks in-house bridal making service has now reached maximum capacity until September 2022. This means that our in-house bridal making team cannot take on any new commissions until September (completion date).
However, fabric sales and our very popular design consultation service will continue as normal, subject to the following conditions;
- That you may like to avail of the services of other recommended 3rd party bridal dressmakers (we are happy to share a list of other like-minded bridal dressmakers both in Dublin and outside)
- That you have already sourced your own bridal maker
- That your completion date is beyond October 2022 (whereby we can service your needs in-house)
The design service continues to run as normal by appointment. (Please note this design service will be on temporary hold from June 27th 2022). There is no charge for this service.
Brides to be are more than welcome to call in to our fabric shop to view our bridal fabrics and wedding veil lace. We also have a selection of sample wedding dresses on display in our fabric shop. The gallery below, showing our previous work may also provide some inspiration.
If a bride would like to meet either the bridal dressmaker or advisor it is necessary to make an appointment. In the event of knowing exactly what you would like it is still advisable to meet our advisor, in relation to selection of suitable fabrics. It is also an opportunity to seek a quotation for the possible make up of a gown and what may be involved. Generally, our bridal dressmaking service may involve 4-6 fittings and fittings are carried out on Saturdays.
