For Ireland, we offer next-day delivery if your order is placed before 3pm. Orders received after 3pm will be delivered within 2 days.

We partner with An Post (Ireland's postal service) for deliveries.
How are my items packaged?
We take great care to ensure your items arrive safely. Orders are usually sent in a reusable cardboard box. If you'd prefer a different packaging option, feel free to contact us.
Do you deliver internationally?
Yes, we deliver to most countries worldwide. International shipping is €20.00.

I haven’t received my order. What should I do?
First, check the order status under your account to see if your order has been dispatched. If it's marked as shipped, please contact your local An Post sorting office to confirm delivery attempts. If the parcel still isn't located, contact us directly
Can I modify my order?
If you need to change your order, please call us directly at 01 2846282 (Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm). Alternatively, email us at info@silks.ie, and we’ll assist you with your request.
Can I have my order shipped to a different address?
Absolutely! During checkout, you can enter a separate shipping address. Just be sure to review your order carefully before proceeding to ensure both addresses are correct.
Can I exchange items?
Of course! We have a 14-day return policy. Simply follow the instructions provided with your dispatch note. For your peace of mind, we recommend obtaining a postage receipt when sending returns back.

If you'd like to cancel an order under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (formerly Distance Selling Regulations), we require written confirmation within 14 working days from the date you receive your order.

What if I’m unsure of what suits me?
No worries! Our team is here to guide you with expert advice on colour, design, and style. You’re welcome to take fabric samples home to share with family and friends as you explore your options.
How much notice do you need for an order?
We recommend a lead time of 4 to 6 months for most projects. While we can accommodate varying schedules throughout the year, the more notice you give us, the better we can ensure the perfect result.
How many fittings will be required?
The number of fittings depends on the complexity of the design, but generally, 4 to 6 fittings are needed to achieve the perfect fit.
How do you determine pricing?
Pricing is based on your design concept and fabric choice. We can provide an estimate or guideline based on your ideas and preferences.
How do I make payment?
Payment for fabrics is made directly to Roisin Cross Silks via cash, cheque, or credit/debit card. The design and creation costs are paid separately by cheque, made out to the dressmaker.
Can I make changes to the design after committing?
Absolutely! The design process is flexible, and we’re happy to make adjustments at each fitting to ensure the final piece is exactly what you envision.
Can I see a garment before committing to an order?
Yes, we have a selection of around 20 finished garments on display in our showroom, showcasing how different fabrics and finishes come together. This will give you a good idea of the quality and design options we offer.
Do you only work with silks?
While silk is our specialty, we also offer a curated collection of refined wools, wool crepes, and lace for a variety of designs.
Do you sell off-the-peg garments?
No, all of our creations are made to measure, ensuring that each garment is unique and tailored specifically to your order.
Do you offer alterations?
We no longer provide dress alterations, but we would be happy to recommend trusted professionals for any alterations you may need.
Do you stock beads or other accessories?
Yes, we offer a beautiful collection of beads, trimmings, and motifs, which complement our extensive range of silks, wools, and lace.
Do you offer a shoe covering service in your silks?
We don’t offer shoe covering services, but we can recommend trusted partners who specialize in that area.
